Italian Cream Pancakes

It’s Wednesday, which means it’s time to premiere this week’s featured pancake. It’s our third week with the unified pancake initiative and things have been going great so far. We’re not going to lie, Cinnamon Roll pancakes have been the biggest hit so far and you will definitely being seeing them again, with an autumnal twist. We may have told you too much.
Let’s focus on this week’s deliciousness. It’s a pancake inspired by Italian Cream Cake. It starts as our classic buttermilk pancake, then we added shredded coconut and walnuts in the batter. However, it wouldn’t be much of an Italian Cream Pancake without the cream cheese frosting. After the pancake is removed from the griddle, we add a scoop of coconut-infused, cream cheese frosting to the center of the pancake. We recommend spreading it around and go easy on the syrup.
Like with all of our pancakes you can order them on their own, as part of the breakfast platter or as a side with anything from the Eggs & Omelets section of our menu. Also, if you’re ordering more than one pancake you can order more than one flavor. So, if you want a short stack with one blueberry and one Italian Cream Pancake that’s fine with us. You could also go big and add chocolate chips or blueberries to the Italian Cream Pancake, we won’t judge.


Oh, and just a little side note, for the Italian Cream Pancake we photographed it with the fillin on top so it would be more apparent. When you order this in the store it will look like a plain pancake with a scoop of cream cheese on top. Enjoy!
