Third Coast Coffee

Dear Loyal Kerbey Customers,

When you speak, we listen. We know that you already love our coffee and we will never change it. However, we heard repeated requests for espresso, lattes and cappuccinos and we agreed. Now, at three out of our five locations, we offer all sorts of coffee drinks. Not only can you get your coffee in a wide-array of European styles, we still get the beans from our wonderful friends over at Third Coast Coffee. That means those coffee beans are locally roasted with a conscious.

All of Third Coast Coffee‘s product are Fair-Trade certified and organic. They can trace the origins of all of their coffee to a specific farm in a specific region. They are founding members of Cooperative Coffees a collective of 24 roasters in the United States and Canade who are dedicated to fostering direct, equitable relationships between North American roasters and coffee farmers around the world. Members of this coop buy their coffee direct from farmers whom they visit several times a year to strengthen trade relationships.

We’ve heard people in the stores express their discontent with coffee costing more than $2.00 a cup but when you factor in everything Third Coast Coffee brings to the table it’s quite reasonable. Not to mention, our organic, fair-trade drip coffee is bottomless!

If you’re looking for one of those European preparations like a shot of esspresso or a latte, we have three stores that can accommodate you. Our locations on S. Lamar, William Cannon and 183 all have espresso machines with milk frothers and flavored syrups. On a non-coffee note, we also offer Chai tea, which we actually brew, it’s not just a powder mixed with hot water like you’ll find at many places.

Many of you already loved how our coffee tastes but it’s so much more loveable now that you know more about it. We encourage you to check out Third Coast Coffee‘s website to learn even more about them.

Love and pancakes,
Kerbey Lane
