Round Rock is OPEN!

Austin area Northerners will now get to experience a central Austin legacy! Coming off the high of our 35th Birthday Celebration last week, we didn’t want the fun to end. So this week we’re opening our 7th location! Our Round Rock location opens today, May 11, 2015 at 2120 N. Mays St. Our official opening comes after our reservation-only soft opening last weekend, where patrons enjoyed all of our signature eats for free! Here are what some of our Instagram followers had to say about their experience at our soft opening:

Round Rockers have waited with bated breath for this day. Why, you ask? Where else can you get award-winning queso, gluten-free pancakes, Bison Frito Pie, and a Vegan Breakfast Platter 24 hours a day, 7 days a week? You guessed it—only at Kerbey Lane Cafe!

RR_collage_interiorOur Round Rock menu features the same wide-variety of delicious dishes as our other locations, which include many gluten-free and vegan options. Round Rock patrons can also enjoy our year-round seasonal menus and weekly pancake specials, as well as $3 wine and beer and $2 mimosas, anytime. And just like all of our other locations, the walls here are adorned with local artwork that is available for sale. (Artworks featured in photos are by Perla Leal.)

Every Kerbey Lane Cafe has something for the whole family, but Round Rock is our first location to have a playground, making this location especially kid-centric. It’s so kid-friendly we refer to it as “Kiddie Lane”. And don’t forget that kids eat free on Tuesdays! (We see a weekly tradition in your future, moms and dads of Round Rock.)

bar_stool_collageConsistent with our other locations’ modern look and fun vibe, our Round Rock restaurant was designed by Richard Weiss of Weiss Architecture. Richard designed our South Lamar, UT, William Cannon, and Westlake locations as well. He is also well known as the Alamo Drafthouse architect.

So if you live in Round Rock, gather up the whole fam damily for Sunday brunch, where you’ll enjoy organic eggs from Vital Farms, all-natural ham and sausage, and fair-trade organic coffee from Third Coast Coffee. And of course—our famous pancakes! If you prefer to dine al fresco with man’s best friend at your feet, you’ll want to take advantage of the outdoor seating available on our dog-friendly patio (coming soon).

Even if you don’t live in Round Rock and you’re just a Kerbey Lane Cafe fan, come check out KLC Lucky #7!
