Spring Menu Spotlight: Smoked Salmon Crostini

Last week we didn’t do a Spring Menu Spotlight and our blog felt empty without it. Today, we want to highlight something from the appetizer section of the Spring Menu. We already told you about our delectable Smoked Salmon Benedict in a previous spotlight. This item features many of the same items in a different presentation.
Crostini is Italian for “little toasts” so, think of this is little toasts with delicious toppings. The toasts themselves are actually french baguettes cut into slices and toasted. On the side you’ll find a lemon-dill cream cheese, sliced tomatoes, marinated red onions, capers and of course smoked salmon. If you’re a fan of Bagel with Lox then this could be a great breakfast for you, or you can share it with your friends and treat it as an appetizer. Eat up!
