Sweet Potato Fries
}

As many of you may have already noticed, we’ve changed up the way we prepare and serve our Sweet Potato Fries. In the past, we served sweet potato fries that were crinkle-cut and provided to us by a Texas-based food vendor. They were delicious and they certainly pleased many customers and employees but we didn’t like serving a product that we didn’t make in our own kitchens. We also didn’t like that they cost us significantly more than our hand-cut french fries, which are made in house. That significant cost increase was passed on to our customers in the form of a $0.65 surcharge, which is another factor that didn’t please us. So, we did what any good Texans would do, we changed things for the better.

As of this very moment, if you step foot into any of our five Austin locations and you order sweet potato fries as your side item you will NOT be charged extra. You will also notice that the new sweet potato fries look more like standard french fries. It took several iterations to get our new flavor profile and timing down but we feel that we have reached the perfect blend of flavor and texture with our new sweet potato fries and we’re proud to say that from start to finish they are a Kerbey Lane product. Oh, and just for the record, they are still Gluten-Free and Vegan.

As with any change in our menu, we encourage you to come on in and give our new sweet potato fries a try and let us know what you think. You can tell your server directly, fill out the online survey on your receipt, use the contact page on our website or send us a tweet or Facebook message if you prefer. Regardless of the method you use to communicate we’d love your opinion. Thanks!
