Spring in to Southern cooking at Kerbey Lane. Chef Joel has done it again, creating a new seasonal menu filled with fresh flavors and new twists on old classics. The theme for this season is Southern classics but that’s just a jumping off point. We’ve brought back some items from previous Spring Menus that are sure to delight as well.
For breakfast fans, our riffs on Lox are back. We’re offering an egg white omelet made with capers, onions, smoked salmon and a lemon-dill cream cheese sauce. We’re also presenting smoked salmon, capers and onions as part of our seasonal Eggs Benedict dish. Trust us when we say that poached eggs, hollandaise sauce and smoked salmon were made for each other.
We’re going to miss Pumpkin pancakes but Spring signifies the return of Lemon-Poppyseed pancakes. We also have a special treat for you in the form of Lemon-Poppyseed French Toast! We’ve partnered with our friends at the Cake Plate to create our most delectable seasonal French Toast yet and we’re making it available with combos like the Paris Texas platter.
Our seasonal sandwich menu features some great new items as well. Chef Joel loves Bahn Mi and he created a Kerbey version with a Southern Twist. It’s a Bahn Mi-style sandwich made with braised pork belly and a Sriracha Aoli. For our vegetarian friends we have a soy and sesame-marinated tofu sandwich topped with Sriracha that is sure to melt the hearts of even our most carnivorous customers.
Dinner time is where you will truly see our Southern influences. We’re serving Chicken Fried Steak, with Bacon-Braised Collared Greens as well as Bleu Cheese and Jalapeño-Infused Mashed Potatoes. We’re also offering French-Cut Pork Chops served with a scrumptious Blueberry-Balsamic reduction on the side.
Looking for something a bit lighter? How about an entree-size dinner salad topped with Red Quinoa, Asadero cheese and a Cilantro-Lime Vinegarette? It tastes as good as it sounds and it’s a vegetarian salad that’s loaded with good protein.
