This Week in Kerbey

Every week that we have Cinnamon Roll Pancakes at Kerbey Lane, is a good week. It’s the most popular featured pancake and we love eating it as much as we love serving it. If you have yet to try this delicious concoction we highly encourage you to drop by and see us.
With ACL Festival a week away we are preparing for an influx of smiling faces into our 6 Austin-area locations. Chances are, if you found this blog then you’re already aware of Kerbey Lane but just in case you’re considering a first-time visit we wanted to highlight a few things for you. First of all, you should know that we are a 24hr restaurant. All of our locations stay open all weekend long and most of them stay open full-time seven days a week. We are known for our pancakes, which are big, fluffy and delicious. We always have Buttermilk, Blueberry, Gingerbread, and Apple-Whole Wheat. We also serve Lemon Poppy Seed pancakes for part of the year and Pumpkin pancakes the other part of the year. During ACL Fest, we’ll be serving Lemon Poppy Seed not Pumpkin but you can purchase the pancake mix for both.
In addition to all of the pancake flavors listed above we also have three featured pancakes, which change each Tuesday. We can’t tell you what the featured pancakes during ACL Fest will be but you can find out by checking our Facebook Page Tuesday evenings. This weekend we have Cinnamon Roll Pancakes, Vegan Blueberry Pancakes and Gluten-Free Apple Cinnamon Roll Pancakes.
Another popular breakfast item that we are known for is Eggs Francisco. It’s an open-faced breakfast sandwich served with scrambled eggs, avocado, tomato and bacon atop an english muffin all covered with our famous queso. In case you hadn’t heard, Kerbey Queso is the stuff dreams are made of. It’s just melted cheese but until you try it, you won’t realized what an important food product it truly is. You can choose to have Kerbey Queso as an appetizer, you can have it on Eggs Francisco but you can also choose it as a sauce for your Migas.
If you’re not in a breakfast mood, we serve our full menu day and night. If you want to have Frito Pie at seven in the morning, we won’t look twice. Whether you’re a Kerbey regular or a first-timer, we’d love to see you this weekend AND next. Just be sure to stop by before Tuesday if you want some Cinnamon Roll Pancakes.
