Winter Menu Preview
}

In the next couple of weeks we’ll be phasing our Fall Menu out and our Winter Menu in. In order to familiarize our staff and our customers with the new items we’ll be featuring them as specials for now. We’ll premier the Winter Menu in its entirety on December 19th but for now we’ll have two or three of the items on special for a few days here and there to give everyone a chance to see what they can expect.

This weekend at all of our locations we’re premiering three items but not all simultaneously. Our kitchen already has a lot of items to deal with so we’re matching some of the items with the time of day when you’d expect to order them.

For breakfast we’re featuring our Rise & Shine sandwich. It’s an open-faced sandwich served on buttered and toasted panini bread. In the sandwich you’ll find melted cheddar cheese, bacon, tomato, purple onion and two over-medium eggs. The Rise & Shine is served with homefries on the plate and will be available for breakfast and lunch this weekend.

For Lunch and Dinnertime we’re offering a preview of what is sure to be our most popular seasonal appetizer to date. It’s a 7-layer Dip done Kerbey-style. It looks an awfully lot like our Cowboy Queso in the same black bowl with chips and salsa on the side. In the bowl there’s refried black beans, sour cream, guacamole, queso, kalamata olives, pico de gallo and cilantro. It’s served with a spoon for mixing and dishing, we let our staff sample the 7-layer Dip this morning and we can tell you that it’s a crowd-pleaser.

The third item we’ll be previewing from our upcoming Winter Menu is Peggy Lee’s Pot Roast. The recipe comes from Chef Joel’s Mom and this item will only be available in limited quantities and only for dinner. It uses Richardson Farms‘ pork and it’s served with roasted potatoes, carrots, red onions and a dinner roll on the side. Don’t be surprised if the pot roast sells out fast this weekend because it’s delicious and the quantities are quite limited for now.

You should also know that the S’mores pancake is back this weekend and will be available through Monday. It’s a chocolate pancake with chocolate chips topped with marshmallow, graham and chocolate syrup. It’s been a big hit. Enjoy!
